Hayward Architects gained Planning and Listed Building Consent for a small rear extension to this Grade II listed house in Rugby. The substantial house spread over 4 floors was served by a small dark kitchen in the rear wing of the house. This new extension between the existing kitchen and a boundary wall shared with the neighbours will ensure the house is suitable for 21st Century living. The roof lantern over the space will ensure that there is enough light both into the new space and those adjoining it.
