The award winning Garden Cottage is a small but perfectly formed 1 bedroom bungalow that was formed by extending and remodelling a small redundant single garage to create a luxury space.

It leads the way in sustainability, not through innovative technologies and expensive additions but by demonstrating how redundant buildings can be reused and high specification, beautiful living accommodation can be provided in the smallest of spaces.

The Garden Cottage has revitalised an underused and unloved garage building which promotes a sustainable approach to building conservation rather than starting from the ground up and the embodied carbon that this can generate.

The Garden Cottage was chosen as the winner of the the best Small Residential Project in Leicestershire 2023 at the prestigious PROCON Awards.
