House Extension, Hinckley

The team at Haywards prepared designs for this single storey rear extension which was complicated by the requirement to maintain access to the rear garden which resulted in an unusual shape to the extension. However this was overcome and actually become a feature of the kitchen area of the new extension with an unusual shaped kitchen island dominating the space.

House Remodel, The Park, Market Bosworth

Having extended and remodelled many houses along this road in Market Bosworth including a complete remodel of this one around 20 years ago we were asked to take a look at a complete remodel of this house to create a modern family living space with access through to the rear and a new outbuilding.

The outbuilding was achieved by maximising the properties Permitted Development Rights before gaining planning permission for both front and rear extensions as well a complete remodel of the internal layout. The property now benefits from a large open plan living/dining/kitchen space to the rear with a separate family study space as well as separate living space.

At first floor a balcony that we had designed 20+years ago was removed to create a large master suite.

The extensions were finished in a modern vertical timber cladding to reflect the semi-rural nature of the site and connect the extensions to the new outbuilding whilst not being a copy of the style.

Rear Extension, Hinckley

A small extension can sometimes be just as challenging as a larger one. This one was now exception with a significant level change and a large underground storm water tank that collected rainwater for most of the road and slowed it as it flowed down a steep hill! Still we delivered a small but perfectly formed single storey extension.

Timber frame Extension, Leicester Forest West

We were asked to add a further extension to a house that we had previously worked on in Leicester Forest West. The house feature various timber detailing and the client wanted to improve the first floor bathroom as well as adding a single storey rear extension to form an enlarged kitchen/living space. The idea was to create something that blended in with the existing house while maximising light into the new living space.

House Extension, The Park, Market Bosworth

A remodelled garage, entrance hall and new first floor extension were added to this house on The Park, Market Bosworth. The extensions needed to blend in with the existing heavily extended property whilst providing the level of additional accomodation required by the home owner.
